Free WordPress Form and Email Health Monitor Plugin

Check an isolated form like a visitor, then compare visible success with native WordPress submission events and email handoff. A bundled Node and Playwright runner fills configured fields and sends marked test submissions. No hosted account or subscription is required. Configure staging or isolated test forms because attached integrations may run.

How to use form health monitor

  1. Configure up to three isolated Contact Form 7 or WPForms tests in the plugin’s Tools page.
  2. Install the bundled runner dependencies and Chromium on a machine you control.
  3. Create a WordPress administrator Application Password and supply it through local environment variables over HTTPS.
  4. Run forms manually, review the native and browser report, then schedule the command on your own machine if desired.

Questions and limits

Does the plugin run a browser inside WordPress?

No. The browser runner runs on your own machine or server. The ZIP includes its source, dependencies and setup instructions. PHP receives authenticated reports.

Will test submissions send email?

Native marked test mail is suppressed by default. An optional controlled test recipient enables a real sanitized test email. Other form integrations may still run, which is why isolated forms or staging are required.

Does it prove a message reached the inbox?

No. The report separates visible success, native acceptance, entry storage where exposed and mail handoff. Inbox delivery, CAPTCHA bypass and third-party mailbox verification are not included.

What builders are supported?

Contact Form 7 and WPForms native submissions. Contact Form 7 has no built-in saved-entry database, so entry storage remains unverified. Custom builders, external forms and file uploads are outside this release.
