Compare desktop/mobile screenshots and page signals before and after updates with a self-hosted runner.

== Description ==
Compare desktop/mobile screenshots and page signals before and after updates with a self-hosted runner.

The runner uses a trusted manual baseline and compares the first viewport at 1280px and 390px. It reports visual differences, heading/button structure, HTTP failures and browser errors. Mask dynamic regions explicitly. It does not click buttons, apply updates, create staging or roll back databases. watch performs one comparison when inventory changes; schedule it externally.

Reports and undo journals stay in the WordPress database, accessible to administrators. Monitor credentials are supplied to the runner through environment variables. Nothing contacts WPSymposium or a paid API. Optional HTTP checks contact the URLs being audited.

== Installation ==
1. Upload the ZIP via Plugins > Add New > Upload Plugin.
2. Activate on staging first. Open Tools > WP Symposium Update Impact Inspector.
3. Review the configuration and run an audit. For monitors, install the bundled runner separately as described in runner/README.md.
4. Review evidence before applying changes. Export and clear reports when no longer needed.
